The Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) will be without two key starters when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) in Week 9.
Dallas Goedert (hamstring) and cornerback Darius Slay (groin) did not practice all week and have officially been ruled out for Sunday.
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter (shoulder) and left guard Landon Dickerson (knee) started the week sidelined but returned to full practice on Friday.
Starting wide receiver DeVonta Smith missed Friday's practice but for personal reasons and not due to an injury.
Meanwhile starting right guard Mekhi Becton (concussion) went from being limited to a full participant and will play this week after missing Week 8's win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Below is the Eagles' injury report following Friday's practice:

Eagles Week 9 Injury Report Observations
- TE Dallas Goedert is expected to miss a few games with his hamstring injury so this is nothing new. Grant Calcaterra has been starting at tight end over the last three games.
- CB Darius Slay will be unavailable which means Isaiah Rodgers will be the one to step up in his place just last he did last week.
- RG Mekhi Becton missed last week's win over Cincy but it looks like he has cleared concussion protocol and will be good to go vs. the Jags.
- DT Jalen Carter started last week on the injury report with the same injury be still played in Week 8 and it appears he'll be just fine for Sunday.
- The Eagles won't have to worry about Tyler Steen stepping in for LT Landon Dickerson after all.
- DT Byron Young and CB Eli Ricks are off of the injury report after being on it for two weeks.
- TE Albert Okwuegbunam returned from injured reserve two weeks ago.
- The Eagles have one more week to activate him.
- The Eagles released defensive tackle Siaki Ika from the practice squad and signed offensive lineman Braeden Daniels to take his place.
