The Philadelphia Eagles secondary can't cannot catch a break in the injury department.
The Birds had already entered Sunday's matchup against the New York Jets without starting corners Avonte Maddox and Darius Slay, and safeties Justin Evans and Sydney Brown.
Then, they lost three more key secondary players to injuries.
Cornerback Bradley Roby exited with a shoulder injury and was questionable to return, corner Eli Ricks was sidelined with a knee injury, and safety Reed Blankenship headed to the locker room with a rib injury.
Blankenship and Ricks were officially ruled out for the remainder of the game.
In more injury news from Sunday, starting right tackle Lane Johnson limped off of the field early in the first quarter with an ankle injury.
Initial X-rays done on Johnson's ankle came back negative, according to Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane.
Despite having possibly no broken bones, Johnson's suspected high ankle sprain could sideline him for at least four weeks.
We'll know more on Monday when head coach Nick Sirianni addresses the media and then even more on Wednesday afternoon when the full injury report is released.
