A new week means another 2025 NFL Mock Draft from our guys at A to Z Sports.

Last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers insider Rob Gregson linked the Philadelphia Eagles to Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker

This time, Notre Dame insider and draft analyst Ryan Roberts sees Philly addressing their pass rush issues and selecting 6-foot-5, 283-pound Alabama edge LT Overton at No. 18 overall.

Roberts cites that Bryce Huff and Nolan Smith have not lived up to expectations and that Brandon Graham is retiring after this year:

"The pass rush for the Eagles has been a major problem so far. Bryce Huff and Nolan Smith have underwhelmed tremendously, and Brandon Graham is set for retirement any offseason now. Overton is an imposing presence who is just starting to tap into his overall upside. He also gives you the ability to play multiple fronts in a pinch at 6-5 and 283 pounds."

It's no secret that the Eagles' pass rush has been a weak spot, though it seems to be getting better as the season goes on.

They have 20 sacks so far which isn't terrible but considering they spent $51 million on Huff in free agency, one might think his production would be way up.

Meanwhile, Smith is in his second season and hasn't looked consistent, however, his 2.5 sacks lead the team heading into Week 9.

But pending a big turnaround for their pass rush or not, adding one of the best pass rushers in next year's draft class is never a bad idea.

Overton transferred to Alabama this year after spending two seasons at Texas A&M. He has made an immediate impact on Bama's defensive front and has twice as many pressures as anyone on the team with 30.

Through eight games so far, Overtaon has racked up 24 tackles, two sacks (-9 yards), a forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a pass breakup.

No. 14 Alabama is on their bye this week but Eagles fans can catch Overton in action when they return in Week 11 to play No. 16 LSU.
