The Philadelphia Eagles 2023 season came to an end on Monday, Jan 15. after they lost tragically, 32-9, to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

With an embarrassing year behind them, the Eagles will turn their attention to planning for the 2024 season — which they have already done by shaking up their coaching staff over the weekend, and on Monday, Jan. 22 they signed 20 players to reserve/futures contracts.

These new deals prevent any free-agent player not on the 53-man roster from signing with an opposing team.

Here are the Eagles' 20 signings:

  • DB Tristin McCollum
  • DB Tiawan Mullen
  • WR Joseph Ngata
  • RB Lew Nichols
  • G Jason Poe
  • DT Thomas Booker
  • OL Le'Raven Clark
  • WR Shaquan Davis
  • TE E.J. Jenkins
  • DE Tarron Jackson
  • C Lecitus Smith
  • OL Brett Toth
  • WR Austin Watkins
  • LB Terrell Lewis
  • LB Brandon Smith
  • DT Noah Elliss
  • DB Mekhi Garner
  • DB Mario Goodrich
  • WR Jacob Harris
  • WR Griffin Hebert

Most of these players spent the season on the Eagles or another team's practice squad.

However, some names, including Goodrich, Garner, McCollum, and [Brandon] Smith,  may look familiar as they were elevated to the Eagles' active roster throughout the year.
