The Philadelphia Eagles made a handful of roster moves ahead of their divisional round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
The teams signed wide receiver Parris Campbell to the active roster, and linebacker Nicholas Morrow and wide receiver Elijah Cooks to the practice squad.
In corresponding moves, the Eagles released wide receiver Joseph Ngata from the practice squad and placed linebacker Nakobe Dean on Injured Reserve.
Morrow is the most important signing here since the Eagles lost Dean to a knee injury last week.
A former 2017 undrafted free agent, Morrow is extremely familiar with Philly after he spent last year with the team as a key contributor on defense and finished ranked second in tackles with 95, including 12 tackles for loss, five pass deflections, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
Through seven NFL seasons so far, Morrow has logged 468 total tackles, 43 tackles for loss, 27 pass deflections, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and three fumbles recoveries.
Morrow spent this past season with the Buffalo Bills, though he took a majority of his snaps on special teams.
The Eagles are counting on veteran Oren Burks and rookie Jeremiah Trotter Jr. to take the place of Dean, but expect them to elevate Morrow to the active roster for Sunday's must-win playoff game against LA.
