Nick Sirianni, the Philadelphia Eagles' second-year head coach, described A.J. Browns' attitude in the perfect way ahead of the big game against his former team.
Just to catch you up real quick if you may have missed what happened last season – but Brown was on the Titans last season and was traded on draft night due to a falling out between the two sides.
At least, that's what it was made out to be. Brown wasn't happy, and the Titans seemed to be unhappy as well. On Draft night, the Titans traded Brown for Treylon Burks, the rookie receiver out of Arkansas, essentially.
Now, the Titans and Eagles play in Week 13, and everyone is trying to stir the pot to make the drama a bit better. But this week is just any other week for Brown.
"Just business as usual," Sirianni said when asked about Browns' attitude coming into the week.
"I haven't noticed anything different, which is exactly what I would like to see, which is nothing out of the ordinary, just get him himself ready to play this game like you would get him ready to play another game, and that's what I have seen out of him all week."
Nick Sirianni described Browns' attitude in the perfect way because that is exactly how you would want the guy to approach the matchup.
Some guys can think too much and be in their own heads when it comes to games like these which are oftentimes labeled as revenge games. For Brown, let's hope he doesn't do that.
But, that doesn't mean he isn't thinking about getting revenge on the team that in his opinion, did him wrong. He definitely is, and I think we could see a different side of Brown on Sunday.
