Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Brandon Graham is like a fine wine, he just gets better with age.
Graham, who will turn 35 this offseason, has helped turn the Eagles’ defensive front into one of the most feared units in football. Graham’s 11 sacks and 11 tackles for loss each ranked tied for second on the team in the regular season. He’s since added one sack in the postseason as well.
However, Graham isn’t ready to slow down just yet. On Tuesday, he joined CBS Sports radio’s The Zach Gelb Show to discuss his future with the Eagles.
“No, my wife said, ‘potentially as an Eagle,” Graham responded when asked if the Super Bowl could be his last game. “We don’t know my future because I’m on a one-year deal. She knows I want to play a couple more years and then, who knows what will happen. I’m hoping everything works out, but I’m definitely playing.”
It’s not a surprise to hear Graham say that, especially considering his production over the last few years. However, Philadelphia has guaranteed hefty salaries to Graham if he is on the team’s roster on the second day of the 2023 league year, per Over The Cap.
There are a few hurdles to jump if Graham is to return to Philly, but he’s made it clear that Super Bowl LVII will not be the final game of his illustrious 13-year career, all coming with the Eagles.
