The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl bound.
Their defense dominated, and their offense got the job done against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. At every level, the Eagles did what they have done all season long. They competed.
One of their stars on defense had yet another impressive performance. He was a bright spot all season and continued that in their biggest game so far.
That was Haason Reddick.
The dynamic pass rusher had arguably his best game of the season when it mattered the most. Reddick totaled two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery today.
The 49ers couldn't get anything going on offense, and that started with the performance by the Eagles defensive line.
After the victory, Reddick had some thoughts about getting snubbed as a finalist for defensive player of the year in the NFC.
If you watched the Eagles this season, you know the impact that he had on a weekly basis.
Reddick was a consistent force on the outside for one of the best defensive line units in the entire NFL.
They constantly won important reps, and Reddick deserved the nod to potentially with the award. His impact has been undeniable this season for the Eagles.
He recorded 49 tackles, 16 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 3 fumbles recovered over the course of this season.
