The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to host Ferris State defensive back Shon Stephens for a top 30 visit at NovaCare Complex ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, according to Andrew DiCecco of Inside the Birds

Bleacher Report's Ryan Fowler, adds that Stephens also has a visit scheduled with the Pittsburgh Steelers and has already spent time with the San Francisco 49ers.

Stephens enters the draft with an interesting background since he did not play from 2019 to 2021 as he took time off to care for his mom and was also denied twice by the NCAA when he attempted to transfer to Penn State and Purdue.

However, he made the best of his only two seasons of college football while playing at Division II-level schools, Ferris State and West Liberty.

He logged 16 interceptions in two years and was named All-American in 2022.

Stephens continued to make a name for himself during the pre-draft process as he ran an impressive 40-yard dash in the 4.3’s and benched 225 pounds 19 times while at Michigan State’s pro day last month.

It's worth noting that Stephens is also the cousin of Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and has been training with him this offseason.
