The Philadelphia Eagles could use this year's 2025 NFL Draft to search for Lane Johnson's future replacement at left tackle, and Oregon Ducks product Josh Conerly Jr. would make a great fit.

According to Philly Sports Network's Anthony DiBona, the Eagles recently scheduled a Top 30 visit with Conerly, who is a projected later first-round pick.

"Oregon OL Josh Conerly Jr. met with the Eagles at the Senior Bowl and now he has a top-30 visit scheduled to Philadelphia as well," DiBona wrote on X. "Conerly won’t turn 22-years-old until November and had two years of starting experience at left tackle for the Ducks. He actually made the move from running back to offensive lineman as a sophomore in high school, which is easy to see with his athleticism.

"Conerly is ranked by many as a potential late first-round or early day two pick with potential to start at both offensive tackle and guard early in his NFL career."

Conerly played a key role in Oregon's offensive line that was a finalist for the Joe Moore Award, given to the nation's most outstanding offensive line unit. He logged 965 total offensive snaps, including 929 at left tackle. Perhaps his most impressive feat was that he allowed just one sack in 494 opportunities and nine total pressures, according to Pro Football Focus. Additionally, in 11 of Oregon's 14 regular-season games, Conerly received a pass-blocking grade of 70 or higher.

While Conerly played a majority of his snaps at left tackle, he has the skills to play right tackle and guard too and we know how much Jeff Stoutland loves his versatile offensive linemen.

Sure, the Eagles locked down their five-time All-Pro left tackle with a new contract that runs through 2027, but that doesn't necessarily mean Johnson will stick it all the way out.

In fact, he recently told reporters that he will take it "year-to-year." The Eagles will certainly be considering that when the draft approaches in a few weeks and they are on the clock at No. 32 overall.
