With the departure of Kyzir White, the Eagles could use some depth at the linebacker position. Devin White would not only supply the Eagles with depth, but also a starting role. White has 100 tackles in three straight seasons, and has only missed one game over that time.
The LSU product has established himself as a difference maker and one of the fastest LB's in the entire NFL. There is no reason to worry about a "lack of effort" because Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles would not stand for it, so if White wants a starting job he knows he must maximize his effort every time he takes the field.
