The Philadelphia Eagles have finally found a trade suitor for Haason Reddick.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are sending Reddick to the New York Jets for a conditional 2026 third-round pick that could become a second.
Schefter adds that the 2026 pick will become a second-rounder if Reddick completes 67.5% of snaps this upcoming season and has 10 or more sacks.
The Eagles initially granted Reddick permission to seek a trade last month on Super Bowl Sunday, though he didn't ask for it.
He later voiced that he hoped to stay in Philly, but he wanted more than the $16 million non-guaranteed that he was due in 2024.
The Eagles were reportedly looking to trade Reddick for nothing less than a second-round pick, which is relatively high for an edge that turns 30 in September.
So, it looks like they settled with the 2026 conditional third-round pick, but not quite.
There's a chance that the Eagles could get their second-round pick considering Reddick has been playing at a high level, despite his age.
Reddick logged his fourth-straight double-digit sack season in 2023. He finished the year leading the Eagles' pass rush with 38 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and a pass defended through 17 games.
In New York, Reddick will step up to fill the pass rush void in left by Bryce Huff — who is now in Philly.
Unfortunately for Reddick, he won't be getting a new deal with the Jets and will play out the final year of his contract with hopes of an extension in 2025.
