Well, it looks like the 2023 NFL Draft is already off to a wild start for the Philadelphia Eagles. Not only is the team set to have two picks during the night, but the franchise has also just revealed that it is a part of a very rare NFL occurrence.

Stop us if you've heard this one before, but the Eagles and Cardinals have handled a tampering investigation on their own pertaining to the hiring of Jonathan Gannon.

It appears that both teams came together in a trade that will greatly benefit the Eagles as a sort of penance for the Cardinals speaking to Gannon early.

All that matters to Eagles fans is that their team has added a very valuable pick (66th overall) via trade for the 94th overall pick this year and a fifth next year.

This might not be a normal occurrence, but anything that benefits Philly at this point is worth it. Howie Roseman and the Eagles can just say thank you. You can rest assured that they will make the most of it during such a pivotal season.
