The Philadelphia Eagles had plenty of fun during Saturday night’s beatdown of the New York Giants in the NFC’s Divisional Round of the playoffs.
When teams defeat their divisional rival three times in a season, there is cause for a celebration. If the Eagles didn’t have enough fun on the field, one veteran carried on after the game, making sure the Giants felt every bit of the embarrassment.
Defensive end Ndamukong Suh got in on the trash talking following the win. Suh was a midseason addition for Philadelphia, but that didn’t stop him from dragging the Giants via Twitter.
“Anyone seen the Giants? Couldn’t find them yesterday,” Suh tweeted.
In a way, Suh is right. The Giants didn’t show up to the franchise’s biggest game in recent memory. It was an embarrassing performance on the national stage.
Though Suh is a rotational player on the defensive line, Eagles fans will love to see him getting in on the rivalry by putting New York in its place. It's most definitely a Philly thing.
