Philadelphia Eagles fans are the greatest in all of football.
After Jason Kelce teased his retirement decision on X/Twitter, writing "No more keg videos this year," it didn't take long for fans to show up outside NovaCare Complex with a keg full of Miller Lite.
The fans called it a "parting gift."
Kelce addressed the media at 1 p.m. ET where he revealed that he would not be returning in 2024.
As he wrapped up his official retirement announcement, the fans waited outside with the keg and hoped Kelce would stop for one last hurrah.
But according to 6abc's John Paul, Kelce appeared too emotional and kept driving.
While Kelce didn't stop, he did slow down to show his appreciation and waved.
Kelce also expressed his love and gratitude for all Eagles fans and the City of Philadelphia in his retirement speech.
"Some people struggle to play in the city," Kelce said. "They can't handle the boos, the media, or our fans. Consider it a great blessing to play in the most passionate sports town in America. The sense of urgency in this city to win has pushed our organization, has fueled it to take chances, fixed problems, and work tirelessly in an effort to win.
"At times, you hate it as an athlete, especially those new to our city. But when you've been through it enough, you learn to appreciate it. No one celebrates their own like the City of Philadelphia."
