Playoff PTSD vs. Tampa: Week 4
The Eagles' 2023 season will be one that haunts them for years. After starting the season 10-1, they lost five of their final six matchups. No other team in NFL history has ever dropped a season like that. The Eagles could have turned things around in the playoffs, but it only got worse for them.
Philly went on to lose 32-9 to the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.
That embarrassing loss should only give them a reason to beat them in Week 4 in the 2024 season.
Saquon Barkley Faces His Old Team: Week 7 & Week 18
Running back Saquon Barkley is now the star of his former rival's backfield.
Giants fans think he betrayed them, but the truth is that New York didn't want to pay him. Meanwhile, the Eagles didn't hesitate to sign him to a three-year, $37.75 million contract with $26 million in guaranteed money.
He's going to get to show Giants general manager Joe Schoen what they missed out on, not once, but twice.
Doug Pederson Out to Get Philly: Week 9
The Eagles have not lost to the Jaguars since 2006 and they're going to try to keep it that way against Philly's former head coach Doug Pederson when he comes to the Linc in Week 9.
The last time these two faced off was in 2022 when the Eagles won 29-22 and the Jags had a difficult time containing Philly's run game.
They're in for a treat with the Eagles' new-look backfield!
Beating the Cowboys in December: Week 17
Over the last two seasons, the Eagles haven't been able to beat the Cowboys in December when it matters most. It's time they do that and it will only make that much better with Kellen Moore now leading the Eagles' offense.
Not to mention that the Eagles will be on a mission to start and finish strong this year, so maybe they can get a sweep for the first time since 2011.
