Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni could be cleaning out his office as early as next week if his team doesn't beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.

At least, that's what one former NFL head coach tells Eugene Frenette of The Florida Times-Union.

Sirianni has been under scrutiny following a historic late-season collapse that saw the Eagles go from a 10-1 start to the year to an 11-6 finish.

Aside from blowing the season, it also makes sense that the Eagles are putting Sirianni on the hot seat considering the several head coach upgrades that are on the market right now.

They could give Sirianni another chance next year to turn things around, but they'd be missing out on potentially hiring Bill Belichick or Jim Harbaugh as their next head coach.

Eagle Enter Wild-Card Tilt as Favorites

The Birds are slightly surprising 2.5-point favorites over the Bucs on Monday night.

Sure, they were able to beat them 25-11 in Week 3 of the regular season, but a lot has changed since then and these are not the same two teams we saw back then.

For starters, Tampa is 5-1 since the start of December and has allowed 16.3 points per game, which puts them second in the NFL heading into the playoffs.

The Eagles, on the other hand, are 1-5 since the start of December and have surrendered an average of 30.3 points per game for 31st in the league.

The Birds are also dealing with various injuries, including to their star wide receiver A.J. Brown who has already been ruled out. Also, quarterback Jalen Hurts will be playing with a banged-up finger on his throwing hand.

We'll see if Sirianni and the Birds can save themselves and prove the doubters wrong when take on the Bucs in Tampa on Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
