Injury report observations:

  • Slay underwent surgery on his knee this week and will miss some time but is expected to return before playoffs. 
  • Dickerson also underwent surgery this week on his thumb and is expected to miss Monday's matchup vs. the Giants. Sua Opeta has been taking snaps in his place. 
  • Smith suffered his knee injury during Monday night's game against the Seahawks. He has watched practice from the sidelines.
  • Morrow also watched from the sidelines, while Cunningham was not spotted at practice. This means more snaps for Shaquille Leonard. 
  • The Eagles officially activated Avonte Maddox's 21-day practice window on Thursday and he has been a full participant at practice. Maddox's return is a huge boost to the secondary with Slay injured. 
  • Starting right guard Cam Jurgens returned to practice as a full participant after missing Monday's matchup due to a pec injury.
