The (10-2) Philadelphia Eagles were not able to pull off becoming the first NFL team to clinch their playoff spot this season in Week 13 after losing to the San Francisco 49ers.

Of course, even if they did win, the Los Angeles Rams would have needed to lose and they crushed the Cleveland Browns.

Moving on, that doesn't mean the Eagles can't officially punch their playoff ticket in Week 14.

There are 10 different ways that the Eagles can make their 2023-24 playoff berth official when they face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night:

10 Ways Eagles Can Clinch Playoff Spot in Week 14

1. Eagles win + Seattle Seahawks loss or tie

2. Eagles win + Los Angeles Rams loss or tie

3. Eagles win + Green Bay Packers lose or tie + Minnesota Vikings loss or tie

4. Eagles win + Packers loss or tie + Detroit Lions loss

5. Eagles tie + Rams loss + Seahawks loss

6. Eagles tie + Rams loss + Vikings loss or tie

7. Eagles tie + Rams loss + Packers loss or tie

8. Eagles tie + Seahawks loss + Vikings loss or tie

9. Eagles tie + Seahawks loss + Packers loss or tie

10. Eagles tie + Vikings loss + Packers loss

Week 13 Scenario Matchups

Here is who the teams that are a part of the scenarios face in Week 13:

  • Seahawks (6-6) at 49ers (9-3)
  • Rams (6-6) at Ravens (9-3)
  • Packers (6-6) at Giants (4-8)
  • Vikings (6-6) at Raiders (5-7)
  • Lions (9-3) at Bears (4-8)

The dream scenario here would be No. 4, which would be a win over Dallas and both the Lions and Packers loss.

That scenario would set both the Lions and Dallas back in the NFC standings to give the Eagles a better shot at the top seed.

If they lose, then the Cowboys take over the NFC East and NFC, which means clinching the top sees is likely out of sight for the Birds.
