Philadelphia Eagles dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurts has one clear advantage that no one else in the NFL can touch: scoring a touchdown on foot from the one-yard line.

According to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis, Hurts has scored 22 touchdowns from the one-yard line since 2021.

The only other player who has come close to that number is New Orleans Saints running back Jamaal Williams with 14.

Yes, the 'Tush Push' is a Cheat Code

Many will say the Eagles' infamous 'Tush Push' play is the reason for Hurts' touchdown success from the one-yard line.

And they're not wrong.

The "Tush Push" is the Eagles' way of running a quarterback sneak where the offensive line comes together on short-yardage situations to literally push Hurts' tush for an almost guaranteed first down, or in this case, a guaranteed touchdown.

Sure, other teams have run the play before, but the Eagles have been successful on over 90 percent of their attempts, while the other 31 NFL teams have combined for a 70 percent success rate.

In fact, the Eagles have been so good at the play that there have been numerous talks about the league potentially banning it

But they might not have to consider that anymore with a big change coming to the offensive line this season.

Since Jason Kelce officially retired earlier this year, there's been some concern that the play might not be as effective.

Due to his insane athleticism and strength, Kelce had been the heart of that play, and now the torch has been passed to Cam Jurgens. We'll see if Jurgens can replicate that come September and keep Hurts ahead of the league in this category.
