Jalen Hurts is in rare air.
He didn't just lead the Eagles to the No. 1 seed in the NFC. he also joined an NFL Hall of Famer as the second-youngest quarterback to win 14-plus games, joining Dan Marino who did so in 1984.
The guy is special — clearly.
He's taken on the leadership role and played it to perfection. Hurts finished in the top 10 in total yards (3,701) and fourth in QBR (66.7). Hurts has played like the league MVP. And during the games that he missed, the Eagles went winless.
He isn't a perfect quarterback. But he's been close to perfection all year. It's no surprise that he is in the same space as a Hall of Famer. This year, Hurts has played like one.
