Social media can always provide some of the most raw emotion when it comes to the NFL. For the Philadelphia Eagles, another infuriating game in primetime has plenty of folks talking, including a franchise legend and Super Bowl champion.

Eagles frustrate Jason Kelce with latest ridiculous loss behind Jalen Hurts’ struggles

The latest defeat for Philadelphia was one where the fan base could seemingly feel it coming. It was like an impending doom. Yet, when the final mistake occurred, the frustration was all the same, understandably, and Jason Kelce got in on that sort of anger and disbelief.

After the Eagles loss, Kelce simply posted “Fml” on Twitter/X – showing his clear displeasure with the current product in Philadelphia that had Super Bowl aspirations once again ahead of this season. Now, they’re amidst a three-game losing streak where the offense looks uninspired, and fans are clamoring for notable changes.

Jalen Hurts must be at the front of the line for blame when it comes to this loss, but he is not the only guilty party.

Hurts turned the ball over five times, but A.J. Brown also had a drop in the end zone late in the game on a perfect ball from the quarterback. Additionally, Jake Elliott missed a 48-yard field goal attempt that would have prevented the team from possibly even ending up in an overtime scenario.

Eagles players react to third straight loss

The frustration after the loss boiled over even as players walked off the field as well. While the Chargers celebrated, the Eagles looked dejected, and their postgame responses did not inspire a ton of confidence, either. The vibes are simply horrific at the moment.

After his struggles against Los Angeles, Hurts took plenty of blame. He noted that he had too many turnovers in the game. Those absolutely put the Eagles in too many negative positions, as to where the Chargers made plays when it mattered most.

“That’s a play we’ve made a million times in that scenario versus a cloud corner. But I didn’t make that play this time around.” — QB Jalen Hurts on game-ending interception play

Overall, this is a situation that won’t be handled by simply pushing the boulder further down the path. Philly has to find new ways to find success on offense and be efficient. Turnovers weren’t an issue for Hurts entering this game, but they were another tally to add to a long list of reasons why the Eagles have come up short at times this season under Nick Sirianni.
