The Philadelphia Eagles could be losing more than offensive coordinator Kellen Moore to the New Orleans Saints.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Saints interviewed Eagles assistant head coach and running back coach Jemal Singleton for their open offensive coordinator job.
"Eagles assistant head coach and RB coach Jemal Singleton interviewed for the Saints offensive coordinator job, per source," Schefter wrote on X/Twitter. "One Eagles official recently described Singleton as “a big part of what we do on offense and a rising star going forward.”
Singleton, 49, originally joined the Eagles in 2021 and has held the same position over the last four years.
Before Philly, Singleton worked as a running backs coach for the Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, and Cincinnati Bengals. He also coached running backs at the college level for Air Force, Oklahoma State, and Arkansas.
This past season was by far Singleton's best year coaching running backs after Saquon Barkley logged over 2,000 rushing yards and was named Offensive Player of the Year.
In addition to Singleton, the Moore and the Saints are also interviewing the Eagles' defensive backs coach Christian Parker for their vacant defensive coordinator position.
