Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is a candidate for some vacant head coaching jobs.
Per multiple reports, Moore has been requested to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints.
More, 35, joined the Eagles last offseason and it's no surprise why other franchises are interested in hiring him.
After the Eagles dropped their 2023 season, Moore helped turn things around and is one of the main reasons why the Birds finished with a 14-3 record and NFC East champions. In Moore's first season as the Eagles' OC, the offense finished ranked No. 8 in total yards, No. 7 in points scored, and No. 2 in rushing yards.
On Tuesday, Moore commented on the latest head coach news interest surrounding him but said his focus is elsewhere right now.
“You don’t worry about it too much,” Moore said. “Really, the focus is on the week and those things take care of themselves. Obviously, those things only come to teams that usually tend to have success and are doing things well on the field. That’s where your focus is.”
The No. 2 seed Eagles are currently preparing to face the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers for NFL Wild Card Weekend on Sunday.
Since the Eagles are in the playoffs, more will have to wait at least three days after the game to set up an interview.
