The Philadelphia Eagles are set to lose offensive coordinator Kellen Moore to the New Orleans Saints, according to multiple reports.

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie confirmed those reports on Monday following the Eagles' 40-22 Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I do,” Lurie said when asked if he expects to lose . “Unfortunately, we're gonna have to wish him the very best with New Orleans.” “Very smart coach who was able to adapt our offense week to week (as) needed to win games.”

While it would be crazy for Moore to turn down a head coach position that would more than double his current salary, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is still holding out hope.

"Kellen? You know, let's run this shit back, Kellen. Let's run this back!" Sirianni said from the championship stage on Sunday.

Moore and the Saints had to go no-contact once the Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl. But now that it's over with, he can openly talk business with both sides.

Under Moore, the Eagles' offense finished the 2024 regular season ranked No. 8 in total yards, No. 7 in points scored, and No. 2 in rushing yards. Of course, now he can add NFC champion and Super Bowl champion to his resume. Moore was responsible for helping Saquon Barkley notch over 2,000 yards and quarterback Jalen Hurts unlock his Super Bowl MVP potential.

If Moore accepts the position, then he will become the youngest head coach in the NFL at 36 years old.
