The Philadelphia Eagles are doing plenty of work this week to find future studs in the 2026 NFL Draft class.

The NFL Scouting Combine is in full swing, but that did not stop a veteran player from dropping some major news that Philly fans were excited to hear.

Landon Dickerson chooses to return to Eagles over retirement

Landon Dickerson is seemingly back in the fold for Philadelphia. With a simple social media post, Dickerson reportedly confirmed his return to the Eagles. The three-time Pro Bowl interior offensive lineman has been one of the most important OL pieces for the Eagles in recent seasons.

The 27-year-old was mulling over retirement due to injuries. Dickerson tore his ACL twice in college and had knee surgery during training camp last year. He also dealt with multiple ailments during the season in 2025. It was another tough campaign for him, and his long-term health for his body was on his mind.

Dickerson is set to earn $19 million for the upcoming season with Philly, 3rd-most among guards in the NFL as of now. There was assuredly a push from his teammates for him to return, but none of them would have blamed him for choosing his health over the potential risk of playing, either.

The Eagles’ potential push for another Super Bowl prevailed, though, as Dickerson joins Lane Johnson as two key offensive players to pick a return over retirement this offseason.
