The Philadelphia Eagles are en route to the playoffs for the third straight season and are now back in control of the NFC East after taking down the New York Giants on Monday.
Their path to winning the NFC East is simple as they just need to beat the Arizona Cardinals next week and the Giants again in Week 18.
As for clinching the No. 1 seed in the NFC, well, they can still do that with some more help from the San Francisco 49ers.
The Niners helped out the Eagles by losing to the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas night. The Eagles are now tied with both the 49ers and Detroit Lions for the best record in the NFC.
For a chance at the top seed, the Eagles need to win out and hope the Niners lose at least one more of their final two matchups against the Washington Commanders or the Los Angeles Rams.
The Eagles also need to root for the Detroit Lions' downfall, who wrap up the regular season against the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings.
