On Wednesday, the NFL Players Association announced its second annual Players' All-Pro Team, highlighting the league's 2023 top performers across 23 different positions as voted on by current players.

Per the NFLPA's official website, there are five rules to follow when voting:

  • Only active NFL players were eligible to vote, and each player could only vote once.
  • Players could not vote for themselves or for their teammates.
  • If a player missed five or more games as of Week 15 of the season, they were ineligible for a spot on the team.
  • Players voted for the position group they play in and line up against on the field. For example, centers could vote for: the best center, the best nose tackle, the best interior defensive lineman and the best off-ball linebacker in the league.
  • For the special teams (or “core teamers”) category, various player leaders from each locker room nominated their two top players for the ballot.

This year, votes showed that many players chose to recognize two outstanding Philadelphia Eagles players: center Jason Kelce and right tackle Lane Johnson.

It's the second time that both players have been named to the NFLPA's All-Pro Team, proving that their peers believe they're the absolute best at their positions.

While the Eagles haven't been consistent this season, Kelce and Johnson remain two of the most reliable players on the team.

Kelce, 36, is in his 13th season with the Eagles. He has been named to the Pro Bowl seven times, including this year, and has earned five All-Pro nods.

Through 17 games and 1108 offensive snaps this season, Kelce allowed just one sack, a QB hit and 12 total pressures.

Johnson, 33, has played 11 seasons with the Birds, earning five Pro Bowls and two All-Pro honors. He is also up for the 2023-24 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Johnson allowed three sacks, two QB hits and 33 total pressures in 16 games and 981 offensive snaps this year.
