It's great that everyone is finally starting to talk about Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Jalen Hurts as the MVP. It only took the team getting to 12-1, but whatever.

This team is playing at a completely different level right now, and I think them losing to the Commanders woke up the beast. Hurts is playing at a different level right now, and if you ask me, is the clear MVP favorite, especially after Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw three interceptions against the Broncos.

"He’s playing really good," Sirianni said of Jalen Hurts. "That’s good quarterback play, that’s good offensive line play, that’s good tight end play, that’s good receiver play, that’s good running back play, that’s good quarterback play. He touches the ball every time, so it’s big-time play by him."

While Hurts is playing really well and looks like the best dual, or should I say triple-threat quarterback in the league. He is hurting people just as much with his feet as he is with his arm.

But Sirianni continues to preach that Hurts play is because everyone else is doing their job too. This is the ultimate team sport, and while the award goes to one player, Hurts is the type of guy that would give it to the team.

"Our offensive line has just done a great job," Sirianni continued. "I think the tight ends have really stepped up, it was really nice to see those guys. They blocked their butts off today and then they also made plays when it came to them in the passing game. That was really good to see, everybody’s stepping up. (Wide receiver) Quez (Watkins) has stepped up and when you’ve got an injury to (tight end) Dallas Goedert, it takes everybody, and they’ve accomplished that."

The Eagles are a whole. They aren't Jalen Hurts, even if he is the best player on the team. He is in the conversation because of his team. He is throwing touchdowns to his team, and he is running behind his team. It takes everyone.

Nick Sirianni has continued to preach that throughout Hurts MVP campaign. Yeah, let's give Hurts some love, but it's everyone, too.
