The Eagles coaching staff is set to look a little different next season.
Following Philadelphia's Super Bowl LIX victory, the expectation is that offensive coordinator Kellen Moore will accept the New Orleans Saints head coach position, "barring any unexpected developments."
However, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni made one final plea to his assistant coach, hoping he can convince him to stick around for a bit longer.
"Let's run this sh** back, Kellen," Sirianni said after the win.
Moore interviewed twice with the Saints but after the Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl, he had to go no-contact with the organization.
"The Saints, with their history of being in the NFL's crosshairs, don't want to bend or break any rules and therefore will wait until after Super Bowl LIX on Sunday before working to try to finalize any agreement with Moore, according to sources," ESPN's Adam Schefter wrote. "The sides are not expected to have any challenges to get a deal done, sources said."
Moore, 36, will become the NFL's youngest head coach.
However, after that big win, maybe Sirianni convinced him to stick around.
Anything's possible.
