It was obvious that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had lost the respect of his players last fall after dropping a perfect 10-0 start to the season.

But the vibes are very different in Philly this year at 10-2 on the season, and Sirianni's latest locker room speech that went viral following the team's Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens proves that.

After beating the Ravens 24-19 on Sunday evening, Sirianni told his players, "We're working tomorrow" and received a very position and loud reaction from the the team.

On Monday, Sirianni was asked about the video and the team's increased workload this season.

"What I love about this football team [is] this team is determined, it’s hungry. It’s so locked in and focused," Sirianni said. "And I think back to last week, when you have different things and different schedules that could be a distraction, I just felt like our team was so locked in and focused on Thursday. Thanksgiving is such a good holiday, and I keep calling it a distraction. It is. For me, it is. Until the end of the day. (laughing).

"So our guys were just so locked in. And then they came back on Friday. Again, when there was a possibility of not being locked in, bam, they were locked in again. I know there are times that you want a victory Monday, and the guys want a victory Monday. But this team is so determined. They’re hungry. They’re locked in. They’re laser-focused. They wanted to work. We wanted to work."

Sirianni reiterated that not every Victory Monday is to be celebrated, especially with the Eagles on a mission.

"There’s time and place for victory Monday. Maybe next week, or in a couple weeks, we will give a victory Monday," Sirianni said. "Everything has a little bit of a reason why, and you can go off schedule. But a big part of the process is reviewing the tape, seeing the things that you did well, seeing the things that you didn’t do well, getting the guys in here to refresh their bodies and get the flush of a lift, and everything like that. A lot of those things go into it.

"Again, love the fact that this team just wants to put their heads down and work."

Following back-to-back road games, Philly returns home this week where they'll face the Carolina Panthers (3-9).
