Every team opens the NFL’s regular season with one goal in mind: To host the Lombardi Trophy in February.
As Eagles fans found out in 2017, not all roads to a Super Bowl victory look the same. However, with one ring already occupying space on his hand, Eagles star Brandon Graham knows what kind of team the Birds are fielding this season.
This isn’t some guy, who is playing on his first contract just trying to speak a Super Bowl win into existence. Graham is 34 years old and is entering his 13th season in the NFL, all with Philadelphia.
It's evident that he's as hungry as ever after rupturing his achilles in last year's Week 2 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The injury ended Graham's season.
Did I mention that this is one of the most competitive guys in the entire league?
To sum it up, he knows what it takes to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Philly.
In fact, in the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII win over New England, Graham was the lone Eagles defender to record a sack on Tom Brady.
The Eagles and general manager Howie Roseman won the NFL’s offseason with a stellar draft, selecting players who are ready to contribute now.
In the same draft the team also acquired star wide receiver A.J. Brown in a trade with the Tennessee Titans.
This team has the talent to raise another banner, but like Graham said, it’s all about putting the work in.
