Maybe Philly drives the down the field and scores a touchdown to win the game if that call isn't made. We'll never know. And that's going to frustrate fans all off-season.
Adding to the frustration is a clip from after the game that's circulating on social media.
After the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was seen offering Kansas City defensive lineman Chris Jones a lengthy embrace.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist and I don't think there was anything suspicious in regard to the bad call. The official just should've kept the flag in in his pocket (I think he saw the slight jersey tug and immediately reached for the flag).
Either way, the overzealous huge between Goodell and Jones (and yes, I'm aware they had a similar moment when Jones was drafted) is certain to have Philly fans pissed off all off-season.
And after the way the Eagles lost a game they mostly controlled, I can't say that I blame them.
