Philadelphia Eagles give Jalen Hurts a new passing game weapon, add speed everywhere in latest 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft
The Philadelphia Eagles cash in on tremendous haul in latest 2026 NFL mock draft.
As long as Howie Roseman holds the general manager position for the Philadelphia Eagles, this is an organization that is going to be aggressive in order to improve the roster. We have seen that in the trade market very recently, as well as consistently in free agency and via the NFL Draft. That’s how this sustainable product under head coach Nick Sirianni has been created so well.
The 2026 NFL Draft will once again offer an opportunity for the Eagles to continue building out their roster. In the latest 7-round mock draft over at A to Z Sports, the aim was to continue adding support around quarterback Jalen Hurts. From there, continuing to add team speed was the top priority.
Round 1, Pick 30: Makai Lemon, WR, USC
Lemon is an outstanding all-around pass catcher who makes plays after the catch, can create explosives, and win through contact. With the constant drama surrounding AJ Brown, investing in some insurance would be a smart move. If nothing else, you now have the best wide receiver trio in the NFL.
Round 2, Pick 61: Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State
From a physical perspective, Dennis-Sutton has everything you would want coming off the edge. He’s long, explosive, and has the frame to become a standout against the run and pass. If he finally breaks out, the Eagles would have found tremendous value in this spot.
Round 3, Pick 67: Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State
The Eagles are desperate for outside cornerbacks opposite of Quinyon Mitchell. You won’t find many smoother cover men in the 2026 class than Johnson. He has the requisite size and movement skills, as well as a tremendous feel for the game.
Round 3, Pick 94: Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor
Trigg is a freaky athlete with all the upside as a mismatched weapon from his tight end position. It’s all going to be about being comfortable with the person off the field and getting a more consistent player on it. This feels like the perfect potential replacement for Dallas Goedert.
Round 3, Pick 98: Drew Shelton, OT, Penn State
Heading into the 2025 college football season, it felt like Shelton had a good chance to be one of the top offensive tackles in the class. He is an extremely smooth athlete, possessing the patience, foot speed, and mirroring ability to become one of the better pass protectors in the group. His core strength, however, has still been an issue, and it will need to be improved.
Round 4, Pick 129: Zane Durant, DT, Penn State
Durant is a smaller interior defender at 6-1 and 290 pounds, but all he does is make plays. For a smaller defensive lineman, Durant plays with some surprising strength overall. He also has the first step quickness to create some pressure against the run and passing game.
Round 4, Pick 137: Xavier Scott, CB/S, Illinois
If not for the injury, Scott probably would have gone quite a bit higher. He’s a nickel cornerback who can also play safety on the next level. That type of versatility is incredibly valuable for a defense.
Round 5, Pick 154: Logan Jones, OC, Iowa
The Eagles have a great attraction to athletic centers, and that continues with this selection of Jones. Cam Jurgens continues to develop well for Philadelphia, but depth is never a bad thing. Jones would provide a nice developmental option behind him.
Round 5, Pick 162: Malachi Fields, WR, Notre Dame
A big-bodied pass catcher at 6-4 and 222 pounds, Fields fills the prototype you want in the boundary. He makes some outstanding plays through contact, showcasing the catch radius and ball skills to win in the air. That brings a solid baseline to build off of.
Round 6, Pick 180: Kyle Louis, LB, Pittsburgh
While Louis doesn’t look the part of an NFL linebacker, he makes up for that lack of size with outstanding range, good instincts, and the propensity to be around the football. Even if Louis never develops into an every-down player, special teams feels like a great opportunity for him to stick.
Round 6, Pick 210: Trinidad Chambliss, QB, Ole Miss
The former Ferris State All-American has completely morphed his professional outlook with his decision for the Rebels. While his passing still needs work, Chambliss is an impressive athlete who plays with great toughness. There is solid upside as a backup.
