Philadelphia Eagles fans are known for being a tough bunch, but they showed on Sunday afternoon that they have a soft side.
Sunday is the first time that former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson, who is currently the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has returned to Philly since getting fired in 2020.
There was some thought that Eagles fans might boo Pederson, despite the fact he brought the only Super Bowl trophy to the franchise.
But that wasn't the case on Sunday.
According to Eagles reporter Jeff McLane, Pederson received a nice ovation before the game.
There you have it — Eagles fans showed they have a heart.
Now, if Pederson and the Jags beat Philly on Sunday, the reaction might be a little different when the clock strikes 0:00 in the fourth quarter.
