The Philadelphia Eagles have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to the amount of talent up and down their roster. While stars like A.J. Brown, Darius Slay, and Jalen Hurts are getting most of the love, it is C Jason Kelce who is playing the best football of his career.
Kelce is highly decorated as he is currently playing in his 12th season with the Eagles. He is a four-time All-Pro with five Pro Bowl appearances to his name. Kelce’s No. 62 will undoubtedly hang in the rafters of Lincoln Financial Field when his playing days are over.
Kelce is set to turn 35 years old later this month, but he’s still playing as if he is in the prime of his career.
In his last 262 snaps, Kelce hasn’t allowed a sack, hit, or hurry. In fact, he’s allowed just one QB hit since 2020.
Following the Eagles win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5, Hurts described Kelce as “everything I admire in a competitor."
Though he’s not throwing any passes or scoring any touchdowns, Kelce remains the most important player on this Eagles offense. Offensive lineman never get the credit they truly deserve, but Kelce is a generational talent at one of the most important positions in football.
Whether he’s adjusting protections, or paving the way for the NFL’s best rushing attack, Kelce is consistently performing at an elite level.
