The Philadelphia Eagles released their inactives list ahead of their Sunday afternoon kickoff against the Arizona Cardinals and a surprising name popped up.

Cornerback Bradley Roby, who was not listed on the Eagles' injury report this week, will not suit up against the Cards.

The Eagles do have Avonte Maddox back from Injured Reserve, but with starting cornerback Darius Slay out with a knee injury, it's slightly surprising to see Roby inactive.

Not to mention that Maddox hasn't played football since he was injured in Week 2.

Here's the Eagles' full list of inactives for Week 17:

  • QB Tanner McKee
  • CB Darius Slay
  • CB Bradley Roby
  • LB Zach Cunningham
  • OL Tyler Steen
  • DT Marlon Tuipulotu

Running back Rashaad Penny is also active for the third time this season.

Starting right guard Landon Dickerson and linebacker Nicholas Morrow are also back after missing Week 16's matchup.
