If one Philadelphia Eagles fan starts "booing," another one does until the entire stadium is roaring "boos" as if it were an unspoken rule across the fan base.
Of course, this happened at Ceasars Superdome during Super Bowl LIX, and more than once.
But the loudest that Eagles fans booed came when popular music artist Taylor Swift was flashed on the big screen.
While Eagles fans booing Swift caused some controversial backlash, Eagles safety Sydney Brown was thankful for how loud the boos were, not only right then and there– but throughout the entire game.
"Did you see them booing Taylor Swift? I think that explains it all," Brown told reporters following the Eagles' 40-22 Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs. "That was insane. It’s a special group of people we have back at home. We seriously couldn’t have done that without them today."
It's worth noting that Eagles fans booing Swift more than likely had a lot more to do with her dating Chiefs star and Eagles enemy, Travis Kelce, and a lot less to do with her as a person.
However, Swift did grow up an Eagles fan, so the betrayal is still lingering.
The good news is that Swift was a good sport about it and laughed it off.
