There was a point in time everybody thought the Philadelphia Eagles couldn't win with Jalen Hurts.

And then Philadelphia played its first six games.

Now, that narrative has changed.

The Eagles are now considered to be one of the teams that will most likely make the Super Bowl, according to Pro Football Focus. Their matchup? The Buffalo Bills.

The two teams have a 12 percent chance of matching up in a Super Bowl, according to Pro Football Focus' Power Rankings.

Additionally, the second-ranked matchup also features Philadelphia. At an eight percent likelihood, Philadelphia may play the Kansas City Chiefs, according to PFF.

And the Eagles' turnaround is solely thanks to the play of Hurts this season.

Currently, Hurts has thrown for 1,514 yards. He also has tallied six passing touchdowns with just two interceptions.

Hurts possess a QBR of 59.0, good enough for ninth in the league.

But where he has really shown his value is on the ground. He has six rushing touchdowns to go along with his 293 rushing yards.

The story behind the Eagles' return to prominence can be traced back to the play of Hurts. He's been the deciding factor in what makes Philadelphia's offense so difficult to stop.

And as it turns out, he's also helped shift the narrative in Philadelphia's favor around the NFL.
