The Philadelphia Eagles looked dead in the water for the first half of the first half against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

And then Jalen Hurts changed that. With nine minutes left in the second quarter, the Eagles trailing 14-0, Hurts took it on himself to go make a difference.

He ran the ball up the middle and made a Jacksonville defender pay for trying to stop him at the goal line. Take a look:

Hurts' touchdown run broke the Eagles' first-quarter struggles, where the team looked as though it was sleepwalking through the game. In the final nine minutes of the first half, the Eagles scored 20 unanswered points on a series of scores, asserting their dominance over the young Jaguars in the Philadelphia rain.

Here is the score that gave the Eagles the first-half lead. It is fitting that the comeback started with Hurts. Take a look:

In the second half, the Eagles will need more from Hurts and company — no doubt.
