Eagles center Jason Kelce has never been one to pull any punches, and has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind.

The Eagles enter the 2022 season with a much-improved roster compared to last year’s squad.

With more talent comes higher expectations, but don’t tell Kelce that.

“When you’re expected to do well organizationally, player-wise, team-wise, coaching-wise, all of those little things start to be like ‘Oh, we’ll get that fixed.’ Whereas when the expectations are lowest [it ’s] ‘we gotta fix everything right f***ing now otherwise we’re getting fired.’”

Kelce would go onto say, “I think we’ve got enough older guys around this building, I think we’ve got enough, whether it’s executives, coaches, or players, to understand that expectations are just that – they’re f***ing nothing. We’ve gotta go out there and play. The moment you’re comfortable in this league somebody’s coming for you.”

Kelce is entering his 12th season in the NFL this year, all with Philadelphia. He’s been named to five Pro Bowls and received All-Pro honors four times, so the guy has been around the block.

If it wasn’t clear before, it sure is now. When Kelce speaks everybody listens.
