When it comes to Jason Kelce, you can often find him with a beer in his hand. And it was no different when he had the opportunity to meet the Royal Family after one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in London, England.

The conversation began when Swift and Travis Kelce were recalling the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s appearance on stage during one of Swift’s concerts on the Aug. 13 episode of New Heights.

“Wasn’t this the week I got to watch Jason meet the royal family?” Taylor asked, and after the brothers confirmed it was, she remembered Jason’s internal struggle before meeting the Royal Family.

“He was like, ‘What do I do with my beer?’ ” Travis recalled with a laugh. 

“I watched him have this moment with his beer where he was like, ‘But I want to take it, but I know that I probably should not take it,’ ” Swift added, pretending to be Jason holding up his beer can. “I watched this happen, and it kind of was the most amazing…”

“I like that you picked up on it because that was exactly what was going through my head,” Jason said 

“Like if I don’t have my beer, what do I do with my hand now?” Swift joked, as if she were Jason. 

“Is it disrespectful to have a beer when you meet royalty?” Jason asked, thinking back to his mindset that day.

“Yeah, or is it authentic by having the beer? I would normally have the beer, wouldn’t they want me to be myself? I’m watching you say that in your head,” Swift added.

“It was fantastic,” the singer said. “I’ll always remember that.”
