Philadelphia Eagles Pro-Bowl offensive lineman Jason Kelce inadvertently threw some massive shade at the city of Jacksonville on Thursday.
At least I think it was inadvertent.
Kelce was talking about the difficulties of playing in Philadelphia, a city known for its passionate, and often brutally honest, fans.
The discussion was likely a message directed toward Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons, a former LSU star who has brought an endless amount of drama to Philly recently.
Kelce talked about how Philadelphia will love you if you "just play better".
He then mentioned that he'd rather play in a city where fans care, instead of a city where fans don't care.
And that's when Jacksonville became collateral damage.
"I think it'd be miserable to play in a place like Jacksonville, where no one cares," said Kelce.
Ouch. It's hard to disagree with Kelce, though. Jacksonville is likely home to one of the least passionate fan bases in the NFL.
