Sunday's victory lap for the Pittsburgh Steelers felt a little different.

Watching the team come from behind reminded Ravens fans that T.J. Watt is Baltimore's Grim Reaper

Well, in the spirit of Halloween, Coach Cowher took the supernatural reasoning even further:

"'Ghosts of Heinz Field'

"They're [Pittsburgh Steelers] playing defense right now," Coach Cowher told the Dan Patrick Show. "Maybe the best bookend rushers you've got right now in Highsmith and T.J. Watt. They're not giving up the big plays. And right now, Kenny Pickett is not turning it over. He's got like two interceptions in the last four games. Blocked punt on Sunday. I know they kind of gave it back and to be quite frank, Baltimore did not play very well. They had six drops. They missed a wide-open receiver who falls on the turf at Heinz Field. So, the ghosts of Heinz Field came out yesterday for the Baltimore Ravens."

Now, Pittsburgh certainly made plays down the stretch to win the game. I for one don't subscribe to the notion that "teams beat themselves." That's just an excuse for why the squad didn't win, usually said after losing to inferior competition.

And while it may be Acrisure Stadium now, it will always be Heinz Field to Yinzers and Steelers fans across the globe.

So call it a turf monster, sunday scaries, or the ghosts of Steelers-Ravens past, the supernatural certainly played a role in Sunday's victory according to Coach Cowher.
