Week 11 of the NFL season brings a great slate of games and at the forefront of it may just be an AFC North matchup. On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Baltimore Ravens for the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Baltimore comes into Pittsburgh at 7-3 on the season and the Steelers are 7-2. The top two teams in the AFC North are sure to put on a show just about every time they match up.
With this being the first of two matchups with the other coming in late December, the A to Z Sports team has put together some predictions for the game.
Ravens 28, Steelers 24
Baltimore’s defense is suspect at best at this point but their offense is just about as dangerous as it gets. The Steelers boast a good defense, but they are worse against the pass than they are against the run. This season so far, Lamar Jackson is shredding defenses with his arm just as much as he does with his legs. I have the Ravens getting a big stop late to hold on in Pittsburgh. – Brandon Little
Steelers 28, Ravens 25
Traditionally, this is a low-scoring venture that comes down to a key turnover or defensive stop. But with the Ravens secondary struggling and the Steelers dealing with some attrition of their own on that side of the ball, I expect points. The home atmosphere brings Pittsburgh over the top in the first of their two matchups and the Steelers prevail. – Rob Gregson
Ravens 27, Steelers 24
Think this will be another close divisional clash. It feels like they nearly always are in the AFC North. I’ll take the Ravens in one of the better AFC games of the season so far with plenty on the line, 27-24. Lamar makes a couple of game-changing plays in the second half that are truly the difference. – Adam Holt
Steelers 27, Ravens 20
The fact of the matter is Russell Wilson has brought the Steelers’ offense to life over the past few weeks. For as well as Lamar Jackson is playing right now, the Ravens’ pass defense is a liability ripe for Wilson and George Pickens to pick apart. Pittsburgh has won the last three meetings and with the way Wilson has played, I think the streak moves to four in a row Sunday. – John Sheeran
Ravens analyst believes the Steelers are about to face the best version of Lamar Jackson yet
Saying a lot for a two-time MVP.
