The Pittsburgh Steelers suddenly need a defensive lineman following the latest Cam Heyward news

And while the odds of them replacing him with anyone that is of similar caliber as a player are next to none…

There is one player that could potentially suffice:

"I love the City of Pittsburgh" – J.J. Watt

“I love the City of Pittsburgh,” J.J. Watt told the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday. “I love the people there, the way that they treat my brother, the history, the tradition, I have so much respect for that place. It is incredible but I’m enjoying being retired. It’s great.”

Now, Watt has been retired for the duration of the offseason, certainly staying in shape given his workout routine, but that's different than football shape. Watt has also been  enjoying the fruits of his labor, including becoming a part owner in English Premier League F.C. Burnley, as well as being a part of CBS Sports on Sundays.

So while the odds of Watt returning to action and suiting up for the Pittsburgh Steelers are low, we never heard a no yesterday:

"Sounds like there's a chance Steelers fans, never heard a no there," said Pat McAfee in a joking manner.

And that's what it is, a fun idea with little substance behind it.

But boy, what a sight that would be.

Hopefully T.J. at least gives him a call.
