Just because you're a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers 53-man roster doesn't mean you'll be playing on gameday, even if healthy.

That's because the NFL limits teams to 46 active players on game day.

So with the context clear, here are the inactives for today's matchup:

Steelers Inactive players:

  • No. 2 QB Mason Rudolph (3rd QB)
  • No. 39 S Minkah Fitzpatrick
  • No. 60 T Dylan Cook
  • No. 94 NT Armon Watts
  • No. 96 NT Breiden Fehoko

Titans Inactive players:

  • No. 14 WR Colton Dowell
  • No. 17 QB Ryan Tannehill
  • No. 21 CB Roger McCreary
  • No. 42 OLB Caleb Murphy
  • No. 66 OT Chris Hubbard
  • No. 94 DT Jaleel Johnson

Observations:

It comes as no real surprise to see Minkah Fitzpatrick inactive, even if he wasn't placed on IR and was seen on the field pre-game. Beyond that, Levi Wallace will be back in the lineup, although his normal spot at starting CB now belongs to Joey Porter Jr.
