Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett wasn't able to deliver a win in his first career action on Sunday, but he still went down in the NFL record books.

Pickett entered the game in the second half of Pittsburgh's 24-20 loss to the New York Jets.

The rookie didn't throw any touchdown passes in his first NFL action, but he did something that no one has ever done before in NFL history.

Pickett rushed for two touchdowns. According to ESPN, he's the first quarterback to ever rush for multiple touchdowns in a debut.

While the Steelers still lost the game, Pickett provided a spark for Pittsburgh.

Does that mean Pickett will be the guy moving forward for the Steelers?

Head coach Mike Tomlin wasn't ready to go that far after the game.

Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson, however, seemed to indicate that he'd prefer Pickett under center.

It should be an interesting week in Pittsburgh. Tomlin certainly has some tough decisions to make before the Steelers take on the Buffalo Bills in week five.
