Kyle Long calls out Steelers' George Pickens' effort against Colts

Not only did the Pittsburgh Steelers drop three in a row on Saturday, but they seemingly lost their will in Indianapolis.
Any time a team runs the ball 13 times in a row on your defense, they know they have defeated you both mentally and physically.
Yet, even when the game was well within reach, players like George Pickens had presumably already given up:
Where's The Effort
"When you don't finish your block & the running back gets tackled and your team subsequently does not score a TD, I take issue with it," said former Pro Bowler Kyle Long on CBS Sports. "You know what else, the guys in that locker room should, and they haven't."
Not only is Long right about the effort, he's right about the locker room. George Pickens has seemingly learned nothing after his teammate Diontae Johnson was publicly chastised for checking out in the middle of a fumble and forced to make an apology to his teammates and the media.
Instead, Pickens is proving firsthand that actions speak louder than words, and sequentially proving what Mike Tomlin said about him being a problem is right.
But to make matters worse, his QB even threw him under the bus following a costly turnover, one that Long also took issue with:
"When Mitch [Trubisky] throws you a jump ball and you’re the biggest, freakiest guy on the field and you get "Randy Mossed" between the hashes, I take issue with it," added Long.
Right now there is an identity crisis inside the walls of the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex in Pittsburgh.
A team known for grit, toughness, and culture, has somehow become one based on selfishness, lack of accountability, and questionable effort.
If that doesn't scream that there's a problem in Pittsburgh, I don't know what does.
