Most of the United States may be busy looking for Black Friday deals, but the rest of the NFL is preparing for a big Week 12.

That includes a Pittsburgh Steelers team looking to get a big win on the road in Cincinnati.

They're going to need to be healthy in order to do that, with the final practice of the week giving us a look into the injury status of a few key players:

Steelers Injury Report Week 12, Friday

Steelers Injury Report Observations:

  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: Still nursing a hamstring injury, Coach T said Minkah has been battling to get back to health, but he has yet to return to practice. On Tuesday, Coach T said the team was still optimistic that Minkah would return for this week's game. On Wednesday, Minkah was still a non-participant, with his activity on Thanksgiving or lack thereof signaling that maybe he’s behind Pittsburgh’s initial schedule. That was confirmed on Friday, as Minkah did not participate yet again, and will be out yet again.
  • Monatvius Adams: Adams is still working through a bad ankle that caused him to miss all of the Packers and Browns games. His availability on Wednesday was limited which is at least a sign in the right direction. Adams was limited again on Thursday leading you to believe he will be good for Sunday, but the team must feel he isn’t ready as he is out yet again.
  • George Pickens: Pickens popped up on the report as a surprise edition on Wednesday. A shin injury we had little prior knowledge of was obviously concerning. As for Thursday, Pickens was back in the mix, hopefully signaling a positive sign for his return. That was confirmed when Pickens practiced once again on Friday.

Bengals Injuries

The Steelers will not only be facing a Bengals team down their starting QB, but following today's news, Pittsburgh won't have to deal with the second part of arguably the league's best tandem at WR in Bengals' Tee Higgins.

Even with Browning in for Burrow, the Bengals still present one of the better offenses in the league when analyzing the skill positions. So things may be a little easier for a reeling Steelers secondary, but guarding Ja'Maar Chase and slowing down Joe Mixon in the backfield is no easy feat.
